Midwest Vintage Auto Racing started in the Waterloo, Iowa area in 1978. Retired racers, wanting to preserve the unique look of coupe bodied stock cars racing on the dirt tracks of the midwest, set out to entertain race fans with a glimpse into racing history. These four cars were the start of something that has grown bigger and bigger every year. Currently there are cars in four states registered with Midwest Vintage Auto Racing.
