The A/D converters are interfaced to the computer via the parallel printer port. Opto isolators for each of the signals to prevent noise from the computer from getting back to the A/D converters. This interface is intended for a short run to the computer. If a longer run is needed the use of RS-422 drivers and receivers along with the opto isolators is recommended.
